Privacy policy
This policy explains what information AltFn AI collects, how we use and protect it, and who else handles it.

Who we are
AltFn AI is a product of 352 Labs, Inc., a corporation incorporated in Delaware, United States. For general questions, email hello@altfn.ai. For privacy questions, or to make a request about your personal information, email privacy@altfn.ai.
Information we collect
What we collect depends on how you use AltFn AI. If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you enter and a short label recording where on the site you submitted it. If you have an account, signing in gives us the account details your identity provider returns, such as your name, email address, and organization. If your organization connects a system such as Slack or a document store, we receive the content and permission data from that system that your administrator chose to connect.
Waitlist signups are not stored in a database
Waitlist submissions are delivered to us as an email message and are not written to any database. The address stays in our inbox until we act on it or delete it.
We do not train models on your data
We do not use your content, your organization’s content, or anything AltFn AI ingests on your behalf to train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve machine-learning models. Your data is used to answer your organization’s questions and for nothing else.
Analytics and session recording
We use product analytics to understand how AltFn AI is used. This includes session recording, which captures page structure and where you click. All text and form inputs are masked before anything leaves your browser, so a recording shows how you moved through a page, not what you typed or the content you were reading.
Who else handles your data
We share data only with the providers that operate AltFn AI for us: WorkOS for sign-in and identity, PostHog for product analytics, Google Workspace for delivering waitlist email, and Amazon Web Services for hosting. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Where your data is processed
AltFn AI runs on Amazon Web Services in the United States (us-east-1), and our analytics provider stores its data in the United States. If you use AltFn AI from outside the United States, your information is processed there.
How we use information
To provide and operate AltFn AI, respond to your requests, keep the service reliable and secure, prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations.
Retention and your choices
We keep information only as long as it is needed for the purposes described above. You may ask for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing privacy@altfn.ai. Some records may be kept where we are required to retain them for security, compliance, or legal reasons.
Changes to this policy
AltFn AI is in private beta, and this policy will change as the product does. The date above shows when it was last updated. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we will say so rather than quietly revise this page.
